Tシャツの企画を貰ってこれから公開になる『パイレーツ・ロック』の試写会に行ってきました。１９６６年ロックが全盛だった頃、イギリスでは民放ラジオが認可されていなかった。国営のBBCがながすのはクラシックかジャズばかり。ポップ・ミュージックは１日たったの４５分のみ。そしてイギリスの法律が届かない北海に船を停泊させて２４時間ロックを流す海賊ラジオ局が生まれた。そんなロックバカの海賊ラジオ局DJのスポットを当てた愉快な音楽映画です。半ばたるみは有るものの良い曲が劇中に流れます。
